Planning education, building the future…
The education of a child would serve as the
foundation to their lifelong learning. Since I
have learned that every child is unique, I believe that there should be a philosophy where
it combines different types of theorists to
make an environment where is safe and free
to learn. Education is a simple word, but analyzing this word is more profound because it
can last forever in their lives of the students.
There will be different philosophies of education in this paper that will be discussed.
Every philosophy perspectives that teachers have chosen for the students it is important because it can depends on their teaching
strengths and effectiveness.
As teachers our primary concern should be the
students and what type of learning environment will be best suited to meet their needs.
There are many different opinions as top what
the most effective or appropriate curriculum
is for the students. I do not believe there is
any one philosophy that can provide the ideal
curriculum for each and every student. Just
as there are numerous methods of teaching,
there are also numerous ways to learn. It is
essential that we keep this in mind as we help
the students achieve their goals and discover
their talents. Above all we must encourage
the students to try new things and do what we
can to prevent limiting them in any way.
I think that many of the schools today merely try to prepare the students to move on to
college and by doing so exclude the students
who are gifted with other abilities that are
equally important and useful in society, even
though those talents may not necessarily be
something that can be refined through a traditional three year college.
As a future teacher, I very strongly believe
that students need to be shown practical applications of the concepts they are taught.
As teachers we need to not just show how to
work through a problem: we need to show
why it works and what it is useful for. Without something to apply the information to
math is nothing more than a stream of numbers and formulas that students memorize
for a specific test and then quickly forget. By
demonstrating specific examples of applications the students will be able to retain some
of the information easier and then adapt what
they learn to other problems they encounter
in the future.
The purpose of education is to prepare the
children of today to be productive citizens
of our world tomorrow. School serves as an
important tool to prepare students to be independent thinkers, to develop skills that will
help them in life and in the end to use these
skills to be productive in their environment
and hopefully change it for the best.

Hyderabad: Four persons of a family allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison
in their apartment located in the Kushaiguda
area in Hyderabad city, the police said on
Saturday. The dead were identified as Satish,
his wife Vedha, and their two children Nishiketh (9) and Nihal (5).
It is suspected that the incident happened
on Friday night, but the police received the
information on Saturday afternoon, officials
said. Upon receiving information, the police
reached the scene and registered a case.
"A father, mother and their two children
committed suicide in the Kandiguda area by
taking an unknown poison. Preliminary enquiries revealed both children were suffering from health-related issues (mentally unsound). Even though they have been treated,
the children were not recovering. The parents slipped into depression, they (the family) committed suicide. They are suspected
to have died last night but we received the
information at around 2 PM today. The dead
victims are Satish, Vedha, Nishiket and Nihal," Inspector of Police, Kushaiguda Police
Station P Venkateshwarlu said.
He further said that the bodies of the dead
have been shifted to the mortuary.
"The PME has not been done yet. The dead
bodies have been shifted to the mortuary," he
said, adding that they have not registered any
case in the matter.

Bihar Student, 7, Dies In Hostel, Friends Say He Was Beaten Over Homework

Patna: A seven-year-old student died in Bihar a day after
he was allegedly beaten by his
residential school's owner for
failing to do his homework, his
friends claimed.
Aditya Yadav was a lower
KG student at a private school
in Saharsa district. The accused, Sujeet Kumar, thrashed
him with a wooden stick on
Wednesday for not completing
his homework, said one of his
friends.
Aditya's friends and seniors,
who lived with him in the hostel, found him dead in his bed
next morning.
When they took him to Kumar, he advised them to leave
his body at the hospital, said a
Class 4 student of the school.
Kumar then informed the boy's
father he had fainted. But before he could reach his son's
school, Aditya was declared
dead at a nursing home. Kumar, who denied the charges
against him, is now missing.
The boy was already dead
when he was brought to the
nursing home, said Dr Dinesh
Kumar. There were no injury
marks on his body, he said,
adding that the reason behind
his death could be ascertained
only after autopsy.
In a contradicting statement,
another student said the boy's
body was swollen due to the
beating. He said Aditya was
beaten two days in a row for
not memorising his lessons.
The victim's father, Prakash
Yadav, said Aditya had last
visited home on Holi and returned to his hostel on March
14. "I was informed on Thursday that my son had fainted in
the school and was being taken
to hospital. But before I could
reach the private clinic, Aditya
